John A. Case, Jr. is thankful for the many opportunities and achievements granted to him over the years:

Valedictorian of high school class and National Merit Scholar.

Attended college at Columbia University in New York City. Awarded John Jay National Scholarship upon admission. Awarded Bachelor of Arts degree in 1983, summa cum laude, major in Russian Language and Literature. Elected to Phi Beta Kappa.

Attended law school at Stanford University in Palo Alto, California. Awarded Juris Doctor degree in 1986.

Associated with the law firm of O’Melveny & Myers, Los Angeles, California, from 1986 to 1988.

Associated with the law firm of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom, Los Angeles, California, from 1988 to 1994.

Appointed as member of the Franchise Law Committee of the State Bar of California, Business Law Section for the 1992-95 term.

Served as Franchise Law Committee liaison to the State Bar of California Constituency Project, 1992-95.

Associated with the law firm of Lawrence H. Nagler & Associates, Beverly Hills, California, from 1994 to 1996.

Opened his own law office in Los Angeles, California in 1996.

Advanced his business knowledge by enrolling in the Executive MBA program at the Anderson Graduate School of Management at the University of California, Los Angeles, in 1996. Awarded Master of Business Administration degree in 1998.

Took a leadership role in three Executive MBA consulting projects: (1) a major study for Sun Microsystems, Inc. with respect to its evolving business model, its customer alliance strategy, its relationships with end-product consumers, and the global marketing of its Java product; (2) a business analysis for France Telecom and its Chief Information Officer regarding migration of its legacy Minitel online service to the Internet and rollout of Internet screenphones in France; and (3) a customer equity study of a Beverly Hills dental practice.
